- For us, the funding would primarily support our community outreaches. During these outreaches, we educate the community about substance and alcohol abuse, overdose prevention, and the use of Narcan. We also share testimonies of hope and recovery, provide meals for those who attend, and connect individuals with faith-based treatment centers.
In addition, we help people obtain insurance so they can access treatment, provide essential items they need while they’re in treatment, and, when possible, send individuals on faith-based recovery retreats to continue their healing journey.
Our organization uses community outreach as a primary way to reach individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. Through these outreach events, we provide education on substance and alcohol abuse, overdose prevention, and the proper use of Narcan while reducing stigma and connecting people with life-changing resources.
We share personal testimonies of hope and recovery, provide meals to community members, and build relationships that encourage individuals to seek help. We assist people in accessing faith-based treatment programs by helping them obtain insurance coverage, coordinating referrals, and removing barriers that often prevent them from entering recovery.
We also provide essential personal items for individuals entering treatment when needed and offer continued support throughout their recovery journey. As part of our commitment to long-term healing, we help send individuals to faith-based recovery retreats where they can strengthen their relationship with God, receive encouragement, and build a healthy recovery community.
Our mission is to meet people where they are, provide hope through practical assistance and compassionate support, and help individuals and families experience lasting freedom from addiction. - Target Audience
